Responsibilities

• To execute the requirements solicitation, documenting and decomposition process and to maintain a proprietary network messaging architecture
• To ensure that it evolves to meet future system requirements
• To work with market requirements specification and internal stakeholders to arrive at a clear, unambiguous, detailed and achievable requirements definition
• To assist colleagues in understanding and decomposing the requirements
• To assist in the validation and verification of systems and products
• To maintain a proprietary network messaging architecture and ensure that it evolves to meet future system requirements
• To assist with removing blockers and technical issues that may arise

Performance will be measured on a variety of dimensions for the key accounts including:

• Timely production of clear, unambiguous, detailed and achievable requirements
• Timely evolution of the network messaging architecture to meet system requirements
• Accuracy and completeness of design data with particular emphasis on future maintainability

Required Skills & Experience

• Prior success in systems engineering
• An Engineering Degree, or technical qualification combined with relevant experience
• Strong technical leadership
• A high degree of personal credibility to interface with colleagues at all levels within the business
  • Fluent English (corporate language) essential, German an advantage
  • IT literate with standard business applications – Experience of internet messaging protocols is desirable

• To contribute to multifunctional projects which include external development partners

• Ensure on-time delivery of all artifacts
